- What is a "Profile"?
A profile is what information you have listed about yourself in DigitalTalent. This would include your
- Resume
- Writing Samples
- Salary History
- How do I "update" my profile?
Above and to the right you will see a select box. Click on the box and scroll down until you see "Would You Like To...". Select any of the heading and the page you wish to update will load. Make any changes or additions and hit submit at the bottom of the page. You will then see a message "Update Complete". Repeat this procedure for any page that you would like to update.
- Does it cost to "Update" my tape?
Yes. Each time you wish to update your tape there is a charge for encoding, which currently runs $25.00 per finished minute.
- How do I locate my profile in the database?
To locate your profile, go to the Search Area, enter "guest" as both the username and password. Once inside, select the category your profile is listed in and hit submit.
- How do I change my password?
To change your password, select "Contact Information" from the above list, scroll down to "Password", enter your new password and click on "Submit".
- What is a "Registered Employer"?
A registered employer is an employer that has registered with DigitTalent to view profiles listed in the database. DigitalTalent requires registered employers to provide specific information about where they work, that enables us to provide specific services tailored for both the employer and employee.
- I need to update my tape. How do I do that and where do I send the tape?
To update your tape, login to your account and select "View / Add Services" from the drop down menu on the upper right hand side of the page. When the page loads, select drop down menu for Video #1 and indicate the amount of tape you want encoded. Then, hit the "Next" button at the bottom right hand side of the page, confirm your order and proceed to checkout.
